Worship Team Tasks

Set Up

Tasks that the worship team should complete before anyone starts playing music or warming up.

• Grab mics, DI box, soundhole pickups, digital snakes from the audio cabinets
• Grab cables, guitar & mic stands from the mail room
• Set up guitar, mic, music stands
• Set the sound monitors (move it in place and plug it in)
• Set up your instrument (turn it on, tune it, mic it, etc)

Hmm…we should do a quick team meeting and prayer before we do anything else.

The audio system also needs some setup

• Set up the digital snakes
• Power on the sound system (first the mixer, then the amps)

Clean Up

• Coil all the cables using the inside/outside method
• Put all the equipment back where it belongs
• Power down the sound system (turn off the amps first, then the mixer)
