Auntie Jean called me to tell me that there was a picture of us on the himonline.org website! And sure enough, there we all were... right in the banner. I had just gone on the site earlier that day and didn't even notice that the happy smiling faces were familiar ones. If your connection is slow or if you blink too long, you may miss it because the banner changes pretty fast. While you are there checking out of picture, check out the list of seminars and speakers for this year's Honolulu Conference. If you haven't signed up, there's still time too! Deadline is March 13th. Let's get our picture taken again this year!

It's been a while, and it's been pretty busy. Who's idea was it to have a blog anyway. It's so hard to get anyone to write stuff up in here. I thought I'd do a drive-by news blurb since I'm here to update the calendar (Thanks Christian for reminding me).
Let Your Light Shine On

Wow, it's hard to believe that the Honolulu Conference Retreat has come and gone. It was an exciting 3 days of worship, diving into the Word, fellowship and fun. The theme this year was "Let your Light Shine." And we got cool bright yellow T-shirts that say "shine" on it. For those of you who have never attended the HIM Honolulu Conference, it's an incredible Christian event that gives us a glimpse of what heaven may be like. Over 4000 believers gather together from all over the islands and even from around the world to worship God and be exhorted by His Word. World renown speakers challenge us to love more, think deeper, live fuller and shine brighter. The David Crowder Band makes the whole building shake as we shout our praises to God. (No kidding - it was like an earthquake!) We all laugh together as we ponder the mysteries of the Middle School antics. You have to join us next year!
